Theres a rumor at my company that our department is getting laid off. Ive been an SDR at a major company for 2 years, where I’ve consistently been a top performer. This company doesnt promote from within, so Im looking for a new role. I’m willing to be an SDR again, but preferably at a smaller company where they do promote from within.

The thing thats making this so hard, is I have to be remote. Im moving from Denver to Chicago in March. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role

I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. After 45 minutes she said they will let me know...

2 months later and I am still waiting...

“We are fully remote”

Me : Awesome so no travel required at all?

“Well you need to come to the office 3 times a week and the other two you will be popping into potential customers on site”

Me: So not remote at all…?

“No we’re remote, you get two days traveling not in the office”
