I’m currently a supervisor performing in a project manager role with a cable company working on a fairly large plant rebuild and upgrade. There has been talk of a manager spot opening and I was asked if I was interested. What type of salary would that bring? I have 24 years with the company and currently make just under $100k.

Put in my notice and am being asked to stay longer to help wrap some things up. Can I negotiate bonus payout because I’m basically going to be here the full year? Bonuses paid in March.

Just got my offer from Shell. However the LOE does not detail certain compensation components which are mentioned in the initial offer (market competitive allowance and performance bonus).
Should I ask for a revised LOE with this listed or does the original offer hold good even when I sign this contract?

Isn't it annoying that EY takes total 3 months for appraisals . 1 month to discuss performance and convey the ratings, then 1 month for bonus payout and then again 1 month to reveal hikes. Why can't they just do it all at a go and finish the suspense. We need to wait for 3 months to decide our next course of action.

I joined mindtree in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX.
Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis."
Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ?
