I am a young leadet looking for guidance,

I’m looking for some resources and/or recruiters to help me find a job in Houston. I worked in Big 4 audit for a year and 4 months. I am currently working in global finance/accounting for a major record label. I would like a financial analyst, staff accountant, or an internal audit position (ordered in preference from most wanted to least). I have also considered joining Big 4 again but only if it is an advisory position like FDD or deals. Thank you in advance!

How tough is it to make the jump from SMB SAAS to Mid-market type roles? I’ve been annihilating my quota in my current role for the past 18 months, but on pretty small deal sizes. (Also I have no college degree) will sales managers care more about the performance record? Or more about the lack of big deal experience?

I have about 1.5 years of progressive digital marketing experience, and prior to this, about 2 years of people management experience in a different industry. I’ve been offered a middle management position with company I’m currently at that requires me to manage 4 others below me, but is only offering a $5k salary increase - to $65k. Does that seem on the low end or is it valid? Any help is appreciated!

Has anyone been able to get into BCG without an MBA? I would be at the PL level, coming from a Big4 firm.

Marketing leaders at startups: at what point did you make your first dedicated product marketing hire? What lessons did you learn? Did you do it too early? Too late? Didn’t hire senior enough?

Got offer from BCG for ECT. Read numerous comments about ECT being not attractive compared to Generalist track. Also heard challenges about billability/utilization. Any views/ guidance appreciated!

Are there firms with FS tax practice in Seattle? Specifically fed compliance: Private equity. I know EY doesn't. Any other firms?

I have a new employee that started last Monday, unfortunately it’s not going to work out. Long story, but we’re fairly certain the individual is using Meth and appears to have started/restarted fairly recently. I work with physicians, so it’s a consensus. We have to terminate employment, but what ethical obligation do we have? Two young children at home and no spouse. This is weighing heavily on us.

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?
