During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? None of those three are mutually exclusive.
You need to be bold about what you want to do or pursue. You should be upfront , as everyone appreciates transparency. But you must have solid communication and relationship skills to be able to relay the message to others. In business context , you need to be professional (âpolitically correct â has negative connotations and is usually used derisively).
Because everyone doesnât have the same goals, motivations or metrics. So if you want to be successful in corporate world and influence others, you must be capable of building trust and convince others that your bold ideas are worth their time.
Itâs extremely easy to come off as arrogant when you think you are being bold and arrogant. So understand the context, understand who you are trying to influence and add humility , mutual respect to your repertoire

I told everyone that I didn't think I had any "White privilege" because I was one generation separated from extreme poverty in Northern Ireland
I don't think that benefited me at all even though it was correct
A few months later I got pushed out by ctl, qualitative justifications given only (no supporting examples) with an exiting email telling me that I would not be given alumni status (11.5 month exit vs 12 months required)
I'm not sure that that was the reason, but not every environment is such that you can actually disagree with people when they are wrong and it's important to know what environment you're in
