I’m a senior associate and received an offer to join a very profitable client as general counsel that would open lots of doors professionally and financially. Problem is I’m super burned out on law and was planning on quitting law firm in the next few weeks and doing something else with my life. Someone kick some sense into me before I decline the offer.

Senior attorneys at v100, how common is it for attorneys who start at small firms to lateral to biglaw? Have you worked with any? Conventional wisdom is always that if you don’t start there it’s hard to “trade up”. My coworker and I just did it to two different great v30 firms, and I’m wondering if it’s really that uncommon? PWC - 22L fixed

This is for a guidewire role.
Which is a better offer? What would be a good option for growth wrt role, salary etc.
Also, PWC claims to offer variable based on their fixed CTC based on the ratings.. is this true ? How much is the avg percentage given?

I’m interviewing for an EA (not your typical role) to a serial entrepreneur/CEO who is also interviewing for a Chief of Staff. They have mentioned I would make a great CoS based on my prev experience & could see me being a COO in the next 10 yrs. After playing back our last meet, I realise the CEO was trying to tease out of me/get me to probe on interest for CoS role. I am interested but also don’t want to talk myself out of the EA role as I really want to work for this individual – advice pls?

Can anyone who currently holds the CoS title share what the pathway looked like for them to get there including prior roles and education background as well as the organization you work for (if comfortable) as this title seems to be rapidly phasing out.
