After completing two technical rounds and one techno manager round, my status changed from "Interview in Progress" to "Review in Progress." As per different sources, I was informed that the status usually gets updated and a response is shared within 3 days. However, I have not received any update yet.
Can someone help me on this what is this mean.

Adding this because I find this type of information helpful. Went through the interview process with Meta. They moved quick. Recruiter, hiring manager, and full loop all in a two week period. (I know this was fast because I’ve interviewed with Meta before and it was more like a month between hiring manager and full loop). I was told I would hear in 2 weeks or so on a decision. Need your valuable insights. Having an YOE of 11 years and offered TechLead position with a CTC of 30 LPA (28.5 LPA Fixed) a month ago.

Though their WLB and culture seems good, I kept feeling that I am being lowballed which pushed me to give further interviews.

Received another offer for same role from another PBC for 35LPA (33 Fixed). Is it OK to ask the first company to revise the CTC (up to their best) where the DOJ is in 10 days?

Has anyone successfully made the career move from an HR specialization to an HRBP role? If so, how? I have been working for 7 years in a very niche HR specialization and while I wear many hats on the HR team, I feel like this is hard to express to recruiters or even get an interview for an HRBP role. My niche area has really burnt me out, as it’s very political and I want to expand my horizons. I am already working on completing my GPHR certification. Any other tips?

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Best practices to avoid burning out in FDD?

I’ve been working at a rather prestigious midsized firm in a big city for almost a year and a half now. I have been having a lot of trouble picking up work from senior partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. It seems like the senior partners already have their “go to” associate for things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can increase my workload? I reach out for work pretty much weekly.

Any corp associates looking to move from biglaw to a boutique? My firm remains busy and is looking to bring on a couple associates. We’re all either hybrid or fully remote, and that’s here to stay. 1500 billables and we’re serious about it. Work is primarily ECVC, Outside GC, M&A. Pay is roughly 30% biglaw haircut, with incentive bonuses for hours and originations.

My Redfin agent recently quit with one day notice to start his own firm. He was the one behind my deal and did a lot of work and help with negotiation. However Redfin called me and said they put their top regional lead on transaction which is set to close in 10 days. I’m conflicted with what to do. As a buyer I know I can switch firms with seller’s consent and it won’t impact the deal, or will it? The agent said if I went with him he’s throw me an additional incentive to close with him.

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

If you leave J2 and get another (new) J2, does the first J2 show up on new J2 background check? Assuming these are w2 roles. If so, how do you explain that? 🧐
