I have nearly 3 years in IT Support.
I have trained and leading 7 team members as a Mentor remotely.
I have knowledge of WINDOWS 10,DHCP,AD Concepts,Antivirus,Printer,Network issues, IT Asset Management,Windows Defender Management, MS Outlook,MS Teams, Desktop and laptop hardware.
Also, Corporate VIP Support.
Can research and observe new tech.

Are there any opportunities out there for me to pursue.

What are the possibilities I can do better as UI/UX designer?
I'm currently a sde. I have no background in UI/UX. But I'm very interested in it and have already started taking courses in it.

Is it possible for me to do equally good, if not better, in designing? - salary wise and growth wise ?

I have around 1 year of experience in Java and total 5.5 years in total.

I got a lead role in a company with good package.
The role is of java fullstack, microservices.
I studied hard on spring boot and microservices but my hands on experience is less.
Would I be able to survive,I am a quick learner and deliver projects on time....but first time switching so asking.

Are there any good PM certification that’s worthwhile? Not something that’s on Udemy for 2 hours of coursework.
Most “certifications” I’ve seen seem a bit superficial… but my current PM job feels like a glorified project manager role so I was hoping to use my extra time to study/earn a certificate to show my skill. If possible.

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

Is there anyone on here that has any negatives about working in FP&A? I always see it as an exit opportunity a ton of people want to go in and I know the pros but what are some of the cons?

At the moment i manage a team of 5 industrial designers for b2b sustainable fashion and retail interiors. The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical. What’s the brand value (SME) of holding an CDPSE cert (Certified Data Privacy Solution Engineer, ISACA)?

Could someone explain what finance closing process is? I passed CPA and have audit experience but I don’t really understand how industry accounting cycle works :( What does it mean to close the books? Are they referring to 12/31 deadline? Do all JE have to be recorded within this date? How does one close it?

I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬
