I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

I’ve recently left my job (unhappy with it) and am applying for new work. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?

I’m curious how long people were in the peri menopause phase? I’ve read it’s an average of 4 years but I’m curious what people’s experiences are. I believe I am late stage peri menopausal and my periods have been very irregular for the past 9 months ranging 13-60 days between periods. compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

I have 7 years experience as a QA engineer in networking domains,to be specific to WiFi/WLAN testing.
I started my career with a 6LPA package,after gaining 2.7 years experience,
Switched to Second company for 9.5LPA .
Switched to a 3rd company (currently working here) which is my dream company for 18.5LPA with a total experience of 5.11 years.
Though I'm happy with my work and company culture, I am not completely satisfied with the current 18.5LPA salary. I always have a feeling I'm underpaid.

Compensation is same. Both the companies are good.

Given the narrowing boundaries between testing and dev, which position is better in the long run? I thought it'd be SDET.
But, I'd like to have expert/experienced opinion.
