Hi All, I am looking to make a career pivot. I have 4 years of bench experience at a big pharma and 4 years as a R&D program manager at a large biotech. I recently completed my MBA and am looking for any leads on transitioning into commercial (marketing, access, CI, new products planning). Any advice or connection would be appreciated. I’ve been struggling to make this transition and don’t want to be pigeon holed in r&d for my career.

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? Yesterday I officially got diagnosed with ADHD and MDD. I knew that I was feeling depressed but somehow getting diagnosed made me feel worse. I feel like I am a big failure. I had a mental breakdown yesterday night. This morning I woke up and cried for an hour at least. I had worse times in my life but this somehow feels like a trap I will never be able to escape. I’m so overwhelmed and lonely. Have no friends or family in the US. Don’t know what to do.

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?
