For FFS, pls take Access off your resume.
We still use access here as a database because we got legacy clients and services from an acquisition. 😭😭
Add more numbers. Lift is always a good one.
Tech stack needs additions. List some popular libraries and DBs you've worked with. Both under skills and among experiences.
In the same spirit, some learning algo/architecture names will help. Just saying classification over and over isn't enough.
Visitor count up top is confusing and kinda off putting. If you're trying to make me feel urgent about getting you because others are looking too, know that it's doing the opposite.
Including Access is kinda silly, but I'm not jaded enough to toss the rest of your experience out because you once poked at the DB version of a WikiHow article. So... meh.
Criticisms aside, you've got good experience. Just needs framing.
Thanks, this is super helpful!
visitor count is part of the “cloud resume challenge”. Just there to demonstrate ability to create an API with AWS, and access it via JS.

Good point on the libraries and databases. I’m a SQL and python pro, and have plenty of experience across all types of SQL dbs and nosql, I should highlight that.
Access… yeah I can remove it. I keep it on there because I have seen PLENTY of clients relying on it in the last five years.
Regarding AI/ML algorithms, good point. In the personal projects on my actual resume it links to my github with more actual examples of work i’ve fine but I do need to bring it to the front of the resume

Why? Go management track in analytics, make more money do no actual work???
I’m a great communicator, just don’t like leading teams!
Revamp your resume to more technical style. For instance, move competencies to the top and move education to the bottom. Instead of having your professional experience broken down by company bullets, have company sections with work project subsections. As a data scientist, I don’t care about your general title and broad bullets. Tell me what types of projects you developed or led. Also, use the STAR method with lots of metrics—however, avoid using science-y metrics like Precision, Recall and instead tell me how much time or money you saved the company.
Does the hiring team actually look at GitHub? I suspect they don’t and the real intention is for you to talk about the projects in the interview and say “it’s on my GitHub” on the off chance they want to look
That’s a good point, going to reflect more of what’s in the github on the face of my resume
You should update your name.
Add technical keywords to make sure computer algorithm pickup your resume. Now a days 98% resumes are screened by algo 1st
