Hi all, I currently have 5 years experience as a Salesforce developer and 10 years experience as a .net developer. I also have the Platform Developer I cert. I am currently based in Vancouver Canada and my salary here is $101,000 CAD, with no yearly bonus but I do get share options and the company is not IPO yet.
Is a good salary for my experience? It is so expensive to live here, the money doesn’t go far and I have a 10 month old baby. Just wondering if I should start looking for a new job.

It’s a modest Midwest city with ~100k residents but is a relatively touristy spot. It often feels like a MCOL area but I’m not sure how to adequately judge that, and it would be helpful to know when comparing salaries and the like.

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow.
