Another from Thoughtworks as Lead consultant.
Which one should I consider based on:
Work life balance
Internal hikes - usually what percentage hike we get
Job security
Internal growth

YoE- 11.5 years
Tech stack - java backend
Both are giving same package.

I am currently in Retail Project Management (coming up on 2 years) right now and am looking to make a shift into real estate finance. My degree is in finance, and I am really looking to pair that degree with my passion for real estate investment. Any suggestions on how to make the transition? I am just concerned on how to sell my current experience to a finance-specific role. Any thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated!

Hi I am through the technical interview for Oracle fusion middleware admin position, with 3.2 years experience. Had call with HR and she mentioned only 45% hike is possible that would be around 6.5 LPA. I am expecting around 8LPA. An agency I freelance for wants to hire me full-time. They told me for a Sr Copywriter, 100-110k. I countered with 125-150.

I also said I'm interested in a higher-level title - I currently freelance as a Creative Director of Copy elsewhere (they don't have that title at this agency.)

They came back and said yes to the title and to 125, with a 6 month review that could raise it to 145.

Which is good for Sr Copy, but low for CD/ACD level. Don't want to screw myself over. What to say now?

Remember one thing - If some companies are laying off employees then it's equally a good chance for the other companies to get talented resource . Here things will remain balanced mostly and there's no need to fear . Not all companies do layoff at the same time. You may end up getting a 100% hike too. Just believe in yourself and focus on your skillset, time to brush up and pull up your socks. Stay safe , stay positive !

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
Earlier,before the call I had Bank of america in mind ahead of CTS for its work culture ,hike %, job security and other benefits. But here in TCS also I have very good role, job security and comfort.Please suggest!!
