I interviewed with nielsen last week, they have offered 60 lpa including variable for principal data engineer position.
Exp : 12 yrs, tech stack : spark, scala, Hadoop, current : 42lpa
Heard that they are setting up new teams in india for data engineering, had couple of questions
1. Are there frequent layoffs in india as well, as they did in us?
2. How is the work life balance and work culture?
3. I heard they have good work in terms of data engineering, what's your thought?

At what salary point did you feel "content" if ever? At $90k, and I've always figured once I got to $200k I'd be "good" and chill out, thoughts on that?

SA at big4 making 126k in advisory. Offer from Cog to join at M with 155k and 10k sign on. Also interviewing with other firms where it’d be a lateral switch with ~170k base. Thoughts/guidance/opinion?

By when salary will be credited to accounts? Can anyone say where can we find payslips?

Anyone here ever struggled working at a private practice during your first year as a licensed counselor? I work well with the clients but I find it difficult to accept the pay I receive for the amount of work I do and is required.
