Hi all,

I was a B4 auditor senior, even though I was not that great at either accounting or auditing, I waddled my way through interviews for a FP&A + M&A manager role for a consultancy kind of business and now am terrified that I will not be able to perform.

Just wondering if you guys could give some advice on any best practices/ tips + online resources I could look at ahead of starting relating to FP&A?

I have the accounting knowledge, but not sure how to build FP&A skills?

Thanks so much

3-3-3 rule for new jobs. 3 months to figure it out. 3 months to get to normal performance. 3 months to be able to make real improvements.

Give yourself those first three months to figure it out. Your employers expectations shouldn’t be more than that. I’m sure you’re a smart enough person and will figure it out fine.

Hello Fishes,

So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

Is it sign of an Imposter Syndrome 🥺

Pls help🙏🏾
