I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.
Any suggestions?

I’m an industry senior, manager is retiring in 2 months & new tax director is joining this week. Have been at company for 15 months. I currently work from home, but it’s not a permanent wfh position. I just had my second baby, my parents live in the guest house and they babysit the girls for me while I work. My salary covers all expenses and I am able to pay my parents 1500$/month to babysit daily.

Hi Fishes, I was hired by Optum as Tableau Developer in June 2021. One year passed and I was just doing support and maintenance work on Tableau dashboards (no new development). Now the company wants me to work on Power BI and convert all dashboards into it. I want to make my career in Tableau and I don't want to work on Power BI as I find it hard as compared to Tableau also less interesting. My last company also does the same thing so I left that company within 6 months. Optum

Rant: 2nd year associate here. One team I am staffed on has a midlevel that was hired in 2021 from a non-traditional route. I hate to be biased but I am so tired of this person not knowing the basic things a first year would know (to copy teammates for discussions relating to the matter, to read matter emails that are not addressed to you, and really the most basic substantive law on this subject). Fyi, I like my other seniors/mids in my firm that are homegrown/lateraled from other big law.
