Hi all, recently got out of work due to my own dumb mistake, I thought of career transitioning and I quit my amazing remote HR Coordinator job to pursue that. Well it ended up being a “grass is greener on the other side” kinda situation, tried to go back to my old job but they already filled it. 2. I was thinking it is not genuine as they did not had clarity for which they were interviewing me. However in both round people who interviewed had email id with domain of Capgemini.

Is there a definitive guide to cost of living? The obvious cost of living centers (SF, NYC, LA etc.) get covered a lot, but I’m wondering where my city falls. It’s a modest Midwest city with ~100k residents but is a relatively touristy spot. It often feels like a MCOL area but I’m not sure how to adequately judge that, and it would be helpful to know when comparing salaries and the like.

I need some expert advice. I have 40k in 401k and 40k cash in savings account. I moved all 401k to a very low return safe portfolio in July and basically I haven't done anything with the cash as well.
