How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

My concern is not bonus or Hike, its job security. Some bad signs below as per a Friend who left Adidas recently.
ADIDAS expecting losses for first time in 30 years.
New CEO is hired and Global HR head leaves suddenly. FT report says that CEO wanted more control in HR matter.
Hiring Freeze across All Locations and positions are not being backfilled. This will continue in 2024 too
Upcoming ReOrg in India Tech Hub which will give more control to Germany and some positions may become redundant.
India Techhub grew too soon and became biggest Techhub across all Locations. Germans don't like this as many positions moved from Germany to India.
There are many teams which don't have enough work or projects coming to end. TECH is generally big expense and new projects which don't add value would be first to be cut
So it makes sense to keep a close watch in coming months. Perhaps it's not time to panic but everyone should be little careful.
The first sign of Major Trouble is when recruiters are layed off and then silent layoffs with PIPs. This is exactly what happened during Big Tech Layoffs early this year
It's cause and effect of high inflation and turbulent markets across sectors in international market. US market has been impacted due to high inflation and therefore the layoffs and money has dried up for new projects for service based companies including the big 4.
Similar issues were reported in Europe due to energy crisis and Ukraine war ,but in both aspects now the situation is improving.
As said for Adidas the expectation were set low because they wanted to show the shareholders the turnaround and the profit coming from the down under and hence there was a sidelined effect for showing the 1.1 billion Yeezy losses. Bjorn the current ceo believes in the product lines and comes with high reputation from the previous company Puma.
Recent contracts with Indian team sponsorship investment of 500 crores and 1 billion Man United kit sponsorship contract shows the company cash rich nature.
Only challenge is penetrating the NAM and US market where the Messi inter Miami deal has created a lot of buzz.
Company turnaround has already been seen in the recent company results which were better than expected. Now the china market open after severe COVID restrictions last year gone and also emerging markets posting double digit profits the company turnaround has already started .
People can be put in PIP based on their TLU and PS rating but it's not common.
Bonus this year again will be on the lower side and same goes for hikes.. company growth has been very flat..
Then ps ratings will not matter bonus will be flat to everyone
I heard someone in solution architecture kept in PIP due to the scope of work
He was m3 senior sol architect.and tech pm wanted that he should code as well as solutioning.he refused to code and then pm kept him on PIP
