In short, my current company is on the verge of going under so layoffs abound. My family works in pharma so we're aware it's a more stable industry than non-profit, but I don't know much about the operations side or where to start. I've worked for four years at small companies doing director level Ops/HR, but am willing to work my way up from the bottom if needed.

Other than FAANG and Spotify, what other companies would you consider going client-side?

They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. I need help managing a contract transition. I just started working as project manager owning a large system and help manage a team of developers contracted by a different company. Now their contract is ending and I’ve been asked to represent the gov’t as a contractor and make sure the transition goes well. I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary.
