Anyone who’s moved from consulting to VC, what are some of the ways you’ve made your application stand out? How much of securing the role was down to networking?

Any advice on finding preMBA internship? No finance background but would like to explore the fields. Is IB the only finance option for finance newbies? Is it Possible to get an intern from buy side?

If a role of Technical Program Manager is available in London and Dublin. Is it possible to negotiate base location as London instead of Dublin?

Thanks for adding more hoops for us to jump through. Becoming a principal in KM has always been a question mark. I've been here close to a decade now and I thought I could at least become a senior director (like AP - both the position and the person) in a few years. Now I find there's another level to grind through and burn myself out with politics to reach the top. Truly, 2022 has been a horrible year at ZS. I feel like I've returned to a totally different company after the pandemic.

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I have also considered a sales analyst role considering that I am moderately versed in Salesforce and have worked both the customer facing and sales generating side. TIA!
