I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Tell us more about you and your family’s preferences and needs. Gaithersburg is a little more “dense” or appreciates being more dense - check out the Kentlands or The Crown neighborhoods.
those options are pretty much a wash minus some nuances. Frederick is maybe the outlier bc it is very inconvenient for getting to an airport or even DC and it’s population is more “farm-like” whereas the other places are usually DC-type people that moved out to the burbs. But this is changing pretty rapidly as people are getting priced out of Montgomery County
I second checking out kentlands, crown/rio, or even pike and rose or around Rockville town center if you’re looking for more walkable places. Outside of these communities, you will need to drive everywhere in the suburbs. Montgomery county has some of the best schools though so it’s a great place to raise kids.
My guess is you’ll prob get an even distro of responses swearing by their region. Which probably just tells you that most places in the DC suburbs are great and give you most of what you’re looking for to about the same degree.
At this point, it’s just a matter of finding something in your budget and close enough to any friends or family you’d like to be by.

I can reasonably afford a $500K-$700K and sweet spot for sq Ft is 2500-3000 sq Ft
Dulles area 100%
Check out: Tysons, Reston, Merrifield, and OneLoudon.
North Bethesda nothing up there is walkable tho FYI but fairly short drive up the pike
Urbana / Monrovia! Its in Frederick county but borders Montgomery county. Exceptional schools (Urbana has IB / only only in FredCo). Close enough to Clarksburg/Gaithersburg for outlets, restaurants, medical, etc and the area has really built up over the last 15 years. You can slide right down 270 to anywhere in DC. Someone mentioned that it’s inconvenient to get to airports.. I grew up further out than that and will confirm that it’s not as convenient as living in Arlington for example, but how often do you travel? Couple times a year with the whole fam? 45 minutes further to an airport is less impactful than if you travel once a month (or more).
Awesome thank you! I’d probably be traveling to the airport 1-2 times every 2 months or so, and I can deal with a 45 mins commute
