Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

When you are at an agency, you’re being held accountable for the squishy stuff, whereas in house you need to drive sales to earn your keep
It’s more competitive than agencies because there are fewer positions. Start networking and applying at the companies you want to work at and are passionate about, follow them online get their newsletters, companies want employees that love their brand. Reach old cold and tell them what you love and how you can relieve their pain points!
Sorry that had happened to you. Find a connective thread between agency work you’ve done and client side - meaning if you worked on food accounts, start there, broaden to cpg, retail.
Don’t focus on titles. As a former SVP, I can tell you they go backwards outside of agencies.
Also comp is more than base plus potential bonus. Base may be lower but there’s discounted stock etc. that adds up.
Good luck on your search, agency experience is great to build career on.
