Any body got retention offer from LTI?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

There’s not really a substantial difference. The expectations at each level are slightly different but when I staff a project I don’t even look at which track someone is in. The other thing too is that colloquially, everyone just uses the MC levels (we’d refer to someone as a Senior Consultant regardless of whether they’re an SC or a Staff Technologist). Promotion wise, as long as you’re meeting the key differentiators of the next level, there’s really no difference up to about Senior Associate/Chief Technologist (roughly equivalent to a Deloitte SM)
Thank you! Do you by any chance know the types of roles which would fall under Technologist, would it be like Product Owner/Scrum Master?
