Is it possible to land a financial analyst position with only 6 months of experience in audit? I tried to stick it out w/ B4 but I don’t think I can do it anymore. I’m interested in duties like budgeting/forecasting, but haven’t come across very many entry level positions. I’m mostly seeing entry level jobs that are called “financial analyst” but include duties like JE/reconciliations. I don’t have SQL/Tableau experience either... so not sure if I just need more experience in a diff role first?

Credentials: 6 months of prior experience in this industry at a small startup + 2 years of work exp in retail banking, CFA L2 candidate, part time masters of finance student, bachelors from outside of Canada. I currently work as a contracted Operations Manager but I’m in need of something a little more sufficient as far as salary. I have experience in Management both restaurant, healthcare, and I suppose this particular position counts too I just don’t know how to specify it.
