I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? I’m looking to get into the best position possible after getting an education in CS (get a job quick and good pay).

I was put into PIP in my first company. I believed my manager said that it's only for improvement. I signed it. Later realized it's a termination plan. So I quit the company. But after 5 years I got a call from my First company HR for another role, I was happy to take that opportunity. But later HR called me and said they couldn't proceed for some reason. I’ve been in my position with the Federal Government for over six years. I have never received a grade increase for the time that I was there, yet all of my reviews have been favorable down to me being able to receive monetary bonuses. 3 YOE in Marketing through internships in college, followed by 2 years Financial Operations/Data Tools full-time. I got an offer for $75K at TekSystems for a Market Analyst role. I gave them a range of $70-75K, so they gave the max. But I am questioning asking for a bit more given insurance is apparently on the higher-end and I want to ensure I didn't low-ball myself.

Just to note, this is about a 25% increase compared to what I am currently making.
