want to interview at MBB again. Last year i had started the process but had to stop the process due to severe family emergency. What followed was depression and im doing fairly better now. Had a consultation with an attorney for legal advice on my options to address a late filing for a taxable event. They recommended me two options: file or not file. In order to help him with the consultation he asked to send him additional information like bank statements and work authorization which I sent.

If I decide to not file or go to another attorney if the fees are high, can the attorney still report me or whistle blow me to the tax authorities?

I am going through a divorce right now. I currently have a (my) family member stay with me to help take care of my children (until the divorce is finalized). My ex is oppose to my family member staying in the same house and decided to serve a notice to vacancy. However, I live in CA (community property state), and both of our names are on the title.
