Hi everyone! I have a Karat interview coming up on May 18, 2026 for an Angular AVP role at Citi and would love some guidance from those who've been through the process.

Specifically, I'm trying to understand:

What kind of coding questions does the Karat round typically cover — is it more DSA-heavy or does it lean toward Angular/scenario-based problems?

What rounds follow the Karat interview, and how many total rounds should I expect?

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

One of the company asked if i could join as early as in 1.5/2 months where I have 3 months NP and haven't put papers yet .. i asked one of my senior in my team about this who's already resigning...and she has told about this to the entire team 😶. I realise it's my mistake asking her :p
