I have been at the agency (big name) as a junior for 3 years, and now have an offer at a local tech company for almost x2 more money, but a design position. So there’s quite a change. Wondering if I switch for at least a year (just to see if I like it), how hard it might be to go back to ad world?

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.
