As someone who has guided individuals through career transitions and helped teams adopt more relevant frameworks, I’ve found that the most critical component of any transformation is understanding the mindset of the domain you’re moving into.
It’s easy for people to say “learn by doing” or to list all the skills you need to acquire, but that often misses the most important aspect of doing something well, which is understanding why the work is done in a particular way.
Teresa Torres has a great presentation in her talk on how product management has evolved over the years: https://youtu.be/l7-5x0ra2tc?si=o-6ui405LeyHJu4B. She also provides an excellent book list for aspiring product managers.
My suggestion is to work through her recommended reading list with the goal of building up your product management mindset. Each book offers a unique perspective on what a product manager is meant to do. By internalizing these perspectives, you’ll be better able to have meaningful conversations with product leaders and demonstrate the mindset they’re looking for when hiring.
Thank you so much for such a lovely explanation. I will surely watch this video.

Your best bet is growing within a company vs trying to break in at a new company. If your current company won’t let you grow into PM, find a company that will. This will mean starting at a new company in your current role and growing there. Usually this will be a startup. Exactly how I did it! I went from sales to PM in roughly 2 years
This is an awesome advice, i already try to ask and take questions up to my manager from my own UA testing of the product. But i feel like you said, getting involved in meeting will help me understsnd things better. Because now i only know what my manager tells me and what he asks me to do.

Why do you want to be a product manager

That's what I thought, a lot of people do, and then discover that they suck at the job. Other product roles are different too. I recommend talking to people in your field
I do coaching, been in tech for 15+ years, 7 in Product, VP, and more. Book some time, first meeting free - https://calendar.app.google/9RgDc718QHmMrSrh8
Be practical though, there needs to be an opening for a PM or a new product to justify the new role. I would ask about possible new products or vacancies as part of your strategy to move into PM.
What are your personal motivations and your career aspirations? I was in product management for forty years before retiring last year. I have seen a lot of people enter product management only to discover later that they are the CEO of nothing, they are in charge of nothing, they have no unilateral decision making, they must learn how every department in the company functions and their respective challenges, other product managers will undermine you to ensure they get or keep their resources, engineers do not serve at your pleasure, you work 60+ hours per work, you will have to work with very difficult prospects and clients, you will be blamed for things going wrong, you have to say 'no' to the CEO, etc. I have seen many people wash out after a year or two. Certifications only work if your company is willing to let you utilize what you have learned; otherwise, don't waste your money. Every company is different, so read any PM book with a spoonful of salt because the real world is nothing like what is described in any book.
