I recently completed my interview process for a role, but my application status is still showing as “Business Review.” When I reached out to HR, I was informed that there is currently no update from the business side and timelines are unclear due to delays.

I wanted to understand if others have experienced a similar situation. How long does the “Business Review” stage usually take, and is this a positive sign or just a holding stage?

How do you hire for a role that fluctuates? I currently am the designer + support specialist @ my job. Sometimes support takes up all my time and design projects get pushed back. Saw my therapist this past Friday and he gave me a useful trick to build better behavior patterns. Whenever you have work to do but would rather nap or something, tell yourself 3 negative effects of the nap and 3 positive effects of doing the work. You might still take the nap, but if you can get in the habit of thinking of it negatively, you'll take less naps when you need to be doing other things.

Doesn't matter what the activities are. Could be working out vs eating more, could be socializing IRL vs wasting time in FB (lol)
