Hi everyone, I recently left Deloitte as a Senior Manager and I only have the behavioural interview left for Accenture as SM (I’ve been told that it is organised by the US firm).

I’m just here because I make a third of your salary and could really use $100 :) That being said I think 240+ base is reasonable.
I believe I have the best and most upvoted answer in this thread
The interview will largely be an assessment of your EQ. At the SM level, you will have sales expectations and direct conversation with client leadership. Be able to speak about whatever industry you’re interviewing for, and be prepared with a high level strategy for how you will add value.
As for compensation I would ask for 250 base, 60 sign on, and 50k RSU. Slightly on the high end but gives you some wiggle room.
Best of luck!
I’ll give you a benchmark
SM - Y2 - 240k base, 50k bonus, 50k in RSU
(Not me, a colleague at Accenture)
I will confirm the 50k RSU. I got basically the same exact offer. 240 base 80k starting and another 50k RSU. RSU vests over 3 years employment.
I got 20k signing bonus as consultant. Know a person who got 60k as sr. Manager. Don't know the other stuff. No need to up vote me.
Expecting some MD to give the best answer and pocket that $100 as well 🙄
For the behavioural interview, it helps to give examples and frame them using the STAR Situation>task>action>result technique. Also pull on real-life situations so you don’t sound fake
The salaries above are quite high for Accenture unless it is specifically Accenture strategy. Are you interviewing for strategy or consulting? Which office? The pay difference between nyc and Chicago is gigantic - basically equivalent to an entire level in comp (sm in Chicago = nyc m salary)
@Deloitte What was the final offer you ended up getting? Did you join ACN?
What’s the max $ for SM1 at Accenture Strategy Toronto?
Depends if you are external or being internally promoted…
I joined Accenture from Deloitte but I was not at $220k. Accenture gave me 10% up plus 10% signing bonus and no rsu’s. I joined in the technology vertical in NE. RSU’s at SM level is quite restricted unless you are in S&M
Thank you, sounds like I lucked out
At what level does Accenture start offering RSU?
I am also deciding on Accenture's offer currently
