I have 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (Angular, Node.js, React, TypeScript, Microservices). Could anyone share insights on the typical compensation range for Grade E, grade hierarchy, and career progression? Trying to understand if the offer is aligned with the internal salary bands. Received offer from BCG for ECT AD role. Read numerous comments about ECT being not attractive compared to Generalists track. Also heard challenges about billability/utilization. Any views/guidance is appreciated.

Background - I am not super keen to become an equity partner and comfortable to stay on ECT track. Main reason to join will be opportunity to work with different clients, smart talented people and good brand. I may consider going back to industry after 3-5 years in ECT.

On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k.
