Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Sounds like it’s a big client. This could get you some good exposure to leaders in the firm.
Thank you! I care more about learning and leveraging it for a better exit op as opposed to face time with leaders.
It should be a good learning experience but you might get exposure to more if you’re on multiple clients instead. It really all depends on what’s happening at that company and how the team will be ran - will you only get to see one piece or the big picture?
Thank you for responding! I was thinking the same. Client is a big name in tech but they only want non-compliance tax services from us. I’ll only be focusing on the tax provision aspect of it. So it’s more like one piece.
No
Thank you!
"Good learning experience". But in all honestly provision experience is an extremely valuable skillset in industry. Downside, provision deadlines sometimes ruin your life.
Provision can’t be worse than tax seasons, can’t it?
Good for the first few months as all new then boring recurring work
Thank you for responding!
