Hi everyone. I’m posting here on behalf of my oldest sister because she wanted to see if anyone could help with this situation she’s in (too busy to be on fish bowl atm). She’s currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin but wants to be licensed in Illinois so she can be close to our family. How exactly would you go about doing that? Can she transfer her WI license to IL or has to take the MPJE again to be licensed in IL? She took her WI MPJE back in 2015, so it’s been awhile.

We have a vaccine proof or (-) test policy for our office, we are mostly still remote. Is anyone dropping those requirements as our provincial governments also drop vac certificate regulations and other protections? My fiancé will NOT stop talking about her ex. After I found out they were texting arguing she justified it by saying it was about the dogs and not them. I have worked in four different types of pharmacy and I don’t really like anything so far. I don’t know what to do anymore. Right now I don’t feel like I can do any of these jobs forever. The types I have worked in are:hospital (pediatrics ), retail, specialty and a call center.

Am I the only one that feels like we should have our student loans forgiven? (And I used to be adamantly opposed to ANY student loan forgiveness)
Our salaries continue to DECREASE as cost of living increases (not just “no raises”…decrease!…I realize I’m preaching to the choir haha). I can barely (and by “barely” I mean “can’t” TBH) make bills, pay for kids activities, etc (also a single mom of 3, for more context) LET ALONE pay my loans…

Any pharmacist here transition from hospital to an MSL career? What does an MSL position pay for a pharmacist? Any tips on making the transition?

My temp contract has been extended. I’m relieved to be able to pay the bills, but after giving 70-80 shots a day, I literally dream about giving vaccines almost every night! Struggling to keep positive about finding a new permanent job - I was laid off at the end of April, have applied to over 60 jobs, had 6 interviews, and no offers. I can’t go back to chain retail - it damn near broke me in my 20’s, and it’s much worse now.

any suggestions for a clinical specialist of 7 years of exp in acute care to increase salary? or How should one have this discussion with ones director?

Does anyone work as a self contracted pharmacist or consultant pharmacist? How did you get your first role? I am working to get my consultant license. Have worked management exp. in retail and have worked as a contract pharmacist for IHS. Any advice would be wonderful.
