Hi, I'm getting lot of interview calls for SAP SD Consultant but they want someone experienced 2 to 3 years of experience, 1 or 2 implementation done, support or rollout etc, Relevant experience of sap is zero I have, for BFSI industry is 3+ years I've, so what would u suggest??I'm not getting any work, 5 months gap already now in doing SAP course, hana certifications etc,any fresher in SAP, how u made it in SAP? Have final round interviews at BCG tomorrow. I'm at S& right now at the SA level. Father had a sudden health issue come up this week and it's got me off my game. I'll ultimately need to support him financially for at least a year while he recovers. Not complaining, but has me considering just dropping out of the interview process. Is that crazy? Is the opportunity with BCG really so far beyond what I have already with S&? Is dropping a better look than interviewing and doing terribly?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

For the people who went back to school to pursue a totally different career, what did you do for work? I don’t think I’d be able to do both my current job and school. I did retail in college and that probably isn’t so smart right now. Neither is working at a restaurant. I don’t think I can go back and live with my parents. I feel like I’m stuck.

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?
