Anyone willing to share the timeline and process for their Google interviews? (E.g., how many weeks between submitting the application and getting a screener, spacing of the subsequent interviews after the screener, etc.) I know it depends on the team and how quickly they're looking to hire, but curious to hear what it was like for the folks here.

I was laid off from my job in July due to covid. I’ve been applying like crazy, looking in the campus recruiting/campus programs space, as that is where I’ve spent my entire career. I’ve made it to final rounds three times without an offer. I’m discouraged and feeling like I must be missing something other than just years of experience if they keep going with someone else. Recommendations for free or low cost trainings/certifications that could beef up my skill set and get me to the finish line?

I only started at PwC a couple of months ago, but I started getting hunted down by Amazon. I just passed my technical interview with them and I am moving on to the loop interview. What I want to know is... does anyone have experience at both? In my head, as a Solutions Architect, Amazon (or any FAANG) is a feather in my cap. That being said, PwC has been great, and seems like a great company. Would you leave PwC for an AWS Solution Architect position?

I had a final interview yesterday and the recruiter sent a follow up the next day to have a final conversation with the hiring manager for 20-30min to clear up any questions from both sides that we might have. I don’t want to get my hopes up but does this sound like a job offer?

Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is my manager forcing me out?

In our 121 last we had a good discussion on creating a personal development plan, with the idea being I’d write down clear goals & action points to get from my current level to the next, and I’d provide weekly evidence of it. I prepped the doc accordingly, but instead of wanting to discuss it, he said I have 4 weeks to “turn things around” - without giving any new info on what I’ve done wrong - esp given I wrote my goals based on this same feedback from last week??
