I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

I got passed over for a promotion to manager at a company I've been with for 9 years. They claim it's because I don't have enough sales experience, yet the 2 people they promoted to the role were doing the same thing as me beforehand. In fact, 1 of the people was just given the role and didn't have to go through the 5 interviews the rest of us had to endure. I'm debating whether I should stick around and see if some other manager role opens up or plan my way out of there.

Any tips for how to stand out when submitting resumes online to an F50? I have started sending my resume to in-house jobs and it’s hard to even get a response from most listings. I have tried being targeted (e.g., applying to in-house M&A roles and not just any in-house role) and adjusting my resume for particular listings (e.g., highlighting experiences of interest to the company). For a number of places, I have indicated that I am looking for a remote position, which is maybe a negative.
