Thoughts on moving from med tech to manufacturing? I moved from in-house tech to in-house med tech a couple years ago. Now, given the poor WLB, I am considering making the move out of tech, despite it being an exponentially growing industry. With all the changes in privacy laws re: marketing/advertising, I believe manufacturing would still offer good privacy experience. Thoughts?

I’ve been out of work for a significant amount of time due to Covid decimating my industry. I’ve gone on many interviews and had a few final rounds. I finally received an offer today. The pay is more than I’ve ever made & team seems great. I just can’t help but feel a little disappointed bc it’s not the industry I was in before which was the whole reason I went to law school to begin with. I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash.
