Have worked in web dev domain for the last 2.3 years with the last 1.5 years in React/Fullstack tech stack. Worked at 3 companies since 2019 till now, all with less than 20 overall people in each company (small companies). Want to switch to a big company with more people and diverse teams. Was advised to switch to data domain for long-term growth and progress. Please advise if choosing data engineering is a wise choice.

PS - Was laid off in September end, currently unemployed.

I know this question might be too general, but usually how long it takes from just starting to look at opportunities to landing a role in industry? I started to feel strongly about quitting my current role, but am worried I would stuck here before having an opportunity lined up.

Appreciate any personal example or advice to find an exit

I am a Business Analyst
I worked in the same org for 5.5years and switched in march 2022. I was not allocated a project for 3 months hence changed the org and joined new in July 2022. Now its been 4 months and I am on bench here too with no project proposals coming in. Will it be a good option to go for another switch in comparatively secured organization considering current recession?

Would you leave consulting to go from 200k to 300k if you love the travel and are single? They may give me a raise so what about 225k to 300k or 250k to 300k?

I need help immediately! So I just got an offer from Gartner, but I am also interviewing with Google, Microsoft, and Tik Tok.

I am prepping for a final loop at Microsoft but told Gartner I have an offer to make negotiations more in my favor.
