What will be the ofc timings ?

How much time it takes for documentations after being selected in TCS ?? I got selected for Insurance process in TCS but have not received any mail till now for document submission... Neither I have received any call from HR for salary negotiation.

2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.

Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.

P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.

I’m hoping to live off of 200k/yr in retirement. Retirement for me is still 30 years away so $200k won’t be worth as much then. I’m not married so my thought process is once I start earning over $200k income in the next few years I’ll switch my contributions from Roth 401k to traditional 401k. Does this logic make sense? Should I be factoring in inflation knowing that making $100k right now is the equivalent of $200k in 30 years from now dollars?
