For those currently working in CD, what did your career path to your current position look like?

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

What exactly keeps junior biglaw litigation associates busy? Is it primarily doc review? I assume there’s not a lot of substantive brief writing and hands on trial work. Currently a 2nd year associate at a boutique litigation firm with an opportunity to lateral into biglaw.

Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

How do I pivot from a broker to any job in tech?

Probably a long shot but does anyone here happen to work in the front office (operations) of a pro sports team? I’m gonna assume that most ex-consultants that pivoted went into the business side.

What is the most useful technical or soft skills for any mechanical engineer to have where you work? I’m curious to know what really matters for everyone and what makes a big impact on the team and business.

Is CSCP worth it? 2 years out of school and know i want to be/stay in the supply chain field but torn between prioritizing that or GMAT right now. Feels like id be way more motivated in studying for this over GMAT rn too

What are some good books that helped you with consulting? Looking for some good reads.

Is there such place as non toxic ID firm? Or does any of ID attys like what they do? I moved from general practice to an ID firm six months ago. Biggest mistake of my life. I am trying hard not to just quit and walk away as I’m battling head cold but still have to bill bill bill and get criticized for not billing right and etc and cases being piled up - while everyone is looking forward to the long weekend. I seriously question my judgement. Need word of wisdom just to get through this hellhole

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. I haven't received any interview calls been 2-3 months now, my profile itself is not getting shortlisted for some reason. My NP-90 days in Naukri and LinkdIN. I get some calls from HR asking about my details but then they say I will talk to my tech lead and get back to you if your resume get shortlisted.

I am getting a good project in current company where there will be lot of learning
Initially it will be manual and then it will have automation testing. At the same time I have an offer in another company with good package but there won't be much learning compared to the current company project I am yet to get locked. Is learning important and priority for 4.5 years of experience? Or better to go with the high package offer? (Other company offer is from TCS). Your valuable comments would help.
