Timing for recruiting for the purpose of negotiating salaries: I like my job/company, but know I can get a better salary with my skills/experience elsewhere. Curiosity question - I’m a naturally very chatty senior and I’ve noticed that the staff 1s who are starting remotely and living at their parents’ home (which makes a ton of sense with the remote working) that I’ve been working with seem to want to chat about both semi related work stuff and non work stuff a fair amount. If you’re a staff living at home, do you enjoy having seniors who will chat with you about random things or would you rather just get your work done and log off?

Which firm has the best and most chill off season hours? I’m at BDO and it feels like my busy season never ended and I’m still working crazy hours through the summer. I can’t maintain at this level for long.

Now I got selected for 3 companies but no one is releasing offer letter and stating silly reasons like DB migration issues,on long leave and after bgv will release offer 🙄
So I came to know these HRs will prolong releasing offer untill my LWD 😐

What is the point in asking why do you want to switch after all interview process ? Haven't HR seen resume with all career progression for a candidate before shortlisting that resume which means they are fine with another Switch. If at all they want to ask this question so as to eliminate someone , they should ask this as the first call by them before scheduling the interview. It is a two process i.e. you need a resource and we don't ask them why do you want to recruit us ?
