Just got an interview scheduled in Databricks for Customer data engineer role.

I am currently working as data engineer and have around 1.5 years of experience.

I couldn't get more details on the nature of this role. Could someone brief on what the role is and what is expected for this role?

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.
