What's your take on backend consulting increasing in India. These days it seems most companies (MBB, Big 4) say they are recruiting consultants but the role ends up being supporting US or other offshore teams. EY Parthenon(EY GDS) BCN, PWC are examples. I am pretty sure there are others as well.

Twice now I have been ghosted by hiring managers after my initial HR screen. It’s really got me feeling like shit.

Any startup looking for data science/AI experts or AI products ?

Just reached final on-site round for a Senior Manager position in the logistics department. Role is for Amazon UK. Recruiter is asking me now for my expected compensation (base salary + total comp) via email. Any idea what to aim for?

I don’t know the level but was aiming £80k base, +15% bonus. If I don’t fall under their budget, would I automatically be removed from candidates?

Had an interview today, for RN OnCall position. This is an extremely difficult position, but I bring not only a preference to work the hours they need but the experience and credentials to qualify for the upper range of the salary (RN, MSN, CHPN, 5 years hospice experience). I asked for the range and he gave the range then immediately stated that I would qualify for mid range. Company B: Small/Medium sized growing firm with 45 lpa fixed and 8% avg increment every year but hectic work but good job security
