Hi Guys, Currently doing WFH and living with my parents in my village. Now my doubt is is it possible to avail HRA without paying rent by stating I am paying rent to my parents??? Will there be any problem in future if I declare HRA and we are living a small house in a village.

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

2- how much should I budget for repair and maintenance and

The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs. Just a perspective, even if someone at the age of 45 years starts investin for his retirement, he can decently manage the same with discipline and regular investing.

My whole family is full of extroverts. I'm the only odd one out, an introvert.
Whenever any relative or anyone visits us, they talk, laugh around etc. And I just sit there with my phone, scrolling any random app to let that time pass. People always comment on my nature that I'm so silent, I speak very less etc. They know it's my nature but they still make it a point to call it out. I don't have any reply to this, I just give a smile, that's it.
