I started learning Salesforce newly.... preparing on Salesforce certified Data cloud Admin... is it same as Salesforce certified Data cloud Consultant.? Could anyone clarify.... by the way im looking for dumbs as well... Pls help

I am currently working as Talend ETL Developer. Company which I am working currently doesn't have projects for this skillset. Need some suggestions. Which technology is good now in current market similar to the skills which I am having. So I will be upskilling me in that technology.

Anyone who is ex-consulting and moved to industry miss the events? I don't miss the lack of WLB, but I miss getting tickets to conferences, team events and DU.
Pandemic has been good and bad, since I guess no one is going anywhere, but also because industry office is closed so no in-house events either. Miss getting varied experiences across different clients and industries that consulting offered.

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

I am a Senior SF Admin with 9 years of SF experience. Mostly I look after a team consisting of Admins and do all usual Admin stuff plus BA/Consultant work. I recently got a very good offer from a Product company but the job role is Salesforce Support Manager. Though I don't mind being in support vertical but I am worried that I might drift away from SFDC Domain and get involved more in the Support process and eventually take my career away from Salesforce.
What do you guys think?
