An off topic question, I'm 28 years old female and currently visa processing is ongoing . My parents are pressuring to get married. Can someone someone suggest me how to handle this mental pressure and how to say no to marriage at this moment as I want to settle down in my career and they are unable to understand? Please help with your valuable inputs.

Does anyone have thoughts on being roommates with someone who is recruiting for the same post-MBA gig as you (IB/MBB)? Should you try to get someone going for the same thing/is it advantageous as you grind through recruiting together or does it not really matter?

My marriage is beyond repair I think. Husband just said we keep having the same conversations over and over in the past year about things we’ve been trying to fix. Is a year enough time? 11 years together for reference. And I don’t think his statement is true - he literally mentioned one of those things last week that he was happy about. I just can’t do it with these vague statements in arguments.

ACN 🐠- Has anyone been able to transfer from Big 4 or any other firm to ACN and got them to transfer H1B? I have an approved I140 if that helps.

How many desis have done EMBA or part time MBA from top schools while working & on VISA ? At what age, role. Just for some inspiration.

So I was at a dinner with my MBA classmates, one an H1B, one a white American (slightly right of centre in terms of politics) and im a green card holder, the conversation got really awkward when my H1B pal starts ranting about how oppressive the H1B system and how it shows how racist the US is, the white dude held it in for a while and then said, you knew the rules before you came here, why didn’t you go to Canada or Europe. At this point both of them looked to me to intervene.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? We Indians are so poor we can't think anything else except money. Whole Fishbowl is all about YOe and Salary. No one interested about if any company doing any innovation or not. B-Tech colleges put ads with Package and Campusing only. Almost 99% Indian YouTube thumbnail is like "5 lakh to 40 lakh", "Interview Experience in bracket 50Lpa" etc.. Hardly we can see Foreign Editorial things marked with Packages.
