Hi folks, Do you have any insight on the comp. level for EY Parthenon and/or Monitor Deloitte benefits in Italy (Milan or Rome) at the manager level? What sort of benefits one might expect? Thanks.

Don't have absolute number. But based on someone who moved from Milan to NYC - he got a raise of 40% to bring it to lower salary range of Manager in NYC. Now you can run reverse analysis to get your answer.

And what does the lower range look like in NY?

Wild Guess: €80-90k base + 20% salary? But don't forget that Italian tax are awful. You can consider that you will bring home less than 60% of your gross salary considering tax, social security, etc.

Wonder if people who claim to be more effective and efficient thanks to WFH and wish to never go back to the office are the same people whose jobs are more likely to get off-shored/ outsourced? At the end of the day, if it's just a transactional, "follow-the script" kind of job requiring minimal interaction/relationship/collaboration with other team members, why would the companies be incented to keep paying salaries + benefits when they can just as easily ship these jobs overseas?

Seeking advice on how to choose between a mid tier technical accounting advisory offer and Big 4 audit. Worked in audit at a local firm and wanted a bigger platform. Would love to switch to advisory to be more well rounded. Mid tier advisory offers higher salary but also thinking big 4 has a better platform and maybe better exit opportunities in the long run? Insights please.
