I am currently at about 40 LPA fixed. My YOE is about 11. I live in Noida and work remotely for a pvt IT company. My company wants me to travel on L1 to PA, US. They are offering me about 110k+10k US Dollars. I am confused. My wife earns about 11LPA as well. I have a house on EMI here in India. Car loan is paid off. My family also includes a 3 yo daughter and my mother. Please advise.

I’m not naive or fresh out of law school, but I’m at a point where I’m saying to myself “Why can’t I have it all?” I’ve been offered a job for more pay and less hours and I keep thinking to myself, what’s the catch? I know people will say no promotion potential or that’s not how it works…but what if it could? What if you make yourself valuable by still setting your boundaries? Why would we resent someone who has that opportunity?

I made a couple errors at a new job. An important document to be distributed had wrong information on it, which was proofread by 2 other people. Then a couple of typos in emails, the person micromanaging me told me to send out but I didn’t fix the errors. Failed to meet a deadline but completed 95%. I was written up over all this last week, fired this week. There’s a lot more to this but I think it’s because the DM doesn’t like me.
