I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. Does this ever happened with anyone that your interview went very good and then also you got rejection mail from hr and unable to understand what when wrong.
