Hi folks, my wife is moving to EY UK at London office as a manager and expecting 70k GBP as her salary. I am with Deloitte USI as senior Con and 5 YoE. I'll be applying for jobs on dependent Visa. My domain is supply chain. My UK counterpart told me expect a salary of 60-65k at Big4 for Sr. Con. We currently make 60LPA combined. Does it make sense to move from 60LPA in India to 130k GBP to UK?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

Hi all, How do you deal with having a good relationship with an ex-colleague, and then that person switches jobs, becomes a hiring manager, is hiring for a position you’re perfect for (experience + credentials) and then you reach out to them saying you’re interested and why it would be a good idea - and then they completely ghost you..I also sent an application via the website and got rejected. I am really always trying to help out old coworkwrs with getting jobs, but this is just frustrating 🥲
