Hi Folks, Recently I have received my Increments which were not so great, for the year looking at the work or development I have been in, last year post increment I was promoted from Regional Level Team to Global Level and were assured that they will do the change in payment scale in the next increment. This year they gave me around 10%, but I have observed that people working in the regional team got 20+%, under the same manager. Guide me, what should I do, raise this with employers.

Curious, just accepted offer for entry level swe role (not a comp sci major) and it was well over what I make now and I always hear to negotiate salary but in this case should I have negotiated just to negotiate?

If I initiate seperation from IBM while in the last few days in an account (End date in two weeks), what is the notice period ? Will it be immediately effective or will I be on bench for 1 month or 3 months with salary ?

A unit in TCS is trying to retain me saying if they revise the ctc (from their unit bugedt) and provide an Indonesian onsite opportunity, will you revoke your papers. Is it worth taking this chance? The team is very small of just 10 people and I am not sure how much will they provide for onsite. Pls advice as not a single question was asked in the interview apart from expectations.

Currently having 12.36lacs CTC, YOE 8, Business analyst skill, other skills power Bi, SQl, SAP Hana, before 1st round informed recruiter expected CTC as 20lacs not aware BOnus included in IQVIA.

Graduating Ph.D. program 2021, received offer from tiny boutique for 140TC+random small boutique benefits. Would be better commute, non metro area closer to home. Waiting to hear back from well known life science boutique (think ZS, Clearview, Putnam). Offer would be for NYC office, would likely relocate.

If offer is given, a) at what $ is this worth and b) is brand everything for first firm out of school?

I am the only developer in my team and my manager has assigned me a project in which I need to create a tool from scratch although that is currently running in production build by third party and we don't have access to that code.

I am on notice period and I am 100% sure that project won't be completed before my LWD.
