It shouldn’t be about the money, it should be for the love of the taxes
Honestly, all big 4 are desperate for experienced associates or seniors. I wouldn’t accept less than 70k. Also, a different big 4 would probably give you the senior title and pay you closer to 85k. Having your cpa plus the senior title already should result in the senior title. Unless you are going into a mew area
I moved from a new firm. I was an experienced staff before. I dont think i will be promoted this year
Why not a senior?
I would push for senior!
Core or FSO?

60 - 70? Just guessing
Following, tax senior first year in Boston, passed CPA
I think around 63k, I was in EY FSO Dallas as experienced staff before.
I’m surprised they are bringing you in DSG when you have that much experience. What type of experience do you have?
As far as salary, hard to say. Things are all out of whack right now.
I guess because I come from a small cpa firm, the size of my clients is very small (compared to the clients that big four have) and the type of software I have used is totally different (but I don't think it would be an issue). So I guess they want me to adapt to all the new things before they put me as a senior.
